Mechanical Maintenance Fitter – Day shift only

£25 p/h (LTD/Umbrella) Outside of IR35 Or £20 p/h (PAYE)
3 months’ rolling contract / possible TTP Opportunity
Immediate start
As a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of automated production machinery within an industrial manufacturing environment. You will be working from a CMMS system to complete planned preventive maintenance and ensure breakdowns are dealt with efficiently. Equipment includes, overhead cranes, robotics, mixing and curing machinery, conveying plus more.
Further responsibilities include:
- PPM
- Reactive Maintenance
- Welding
- Fault finding
- Machine installation and project work
- Managing health and safety
You must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Must be able to weld.
- Must be able to gas cut.
- Must be able to fault find, strip and rebuild mechanical systems like bearings, rollers, belts, hydraulics, and pumps.
- Must have some form of Mechanical Qual.
- Must be able to do basic electrical fault finding.
