Shift pattern across 6-2/2-10 Nights 8-6 x4

I am currently recruiting for a Level 3 qualified,  experienced, mechanical maintenance engineer to work for our client who are an internationally recognised manufacturer of high-quality furniture and part of a larger group who specialise in Bedrooms and Kitchens.  The ideal candidate needs to be happy working in a wood manufacturing environment and able to supply their own tools. The role of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following  

  • Reactive maintenance and fault finding
  • PPM work
  • Maintenance engineering of machinery
  • Fixing machinery / gearboxes / bearings / handling equipment / cranes / conveyors / palletisers / wood CNC machinery
  • Working effectively with the teams and keeping production running.

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will need the following skills

  • Time served apprentice trained (Quals required to L3 to get on site)
  • Pro-active nature
  • Proof of qualification required to work
  • Plant process manufacturing/FMCG
  • Good work ethic and motivated
  • Able to work as part of a team
