The role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a resident engineering team responsible for maintaining automated material handling systems in a clean, well-organised environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reactive and planned maintenance across conveyors, cranes, shuttles, and ASRS equipment.
  • Mechanical maintenance including motors, rollers, belts, bearings, pumps, valves, pipework, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Electrical fault finding including safe isolation, three-phase systems, contactors, sensors, and control panels.
  • Using tablet-based CMMS systems to raise, receive, and close jobs with near-total time accountability.

This Maintenance Engineer position is hands-on, safety-focused, and ideal for engineers who enjoy working with modern automation.

What we’re looking for
To be successful as a Maintenance Engineer, you will need:

  • A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
  • Confidence fault finding mechanically and electrically and working safely at height.
  • A personable, team-focused approach with strong communication skills.
