The role
- As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, responsibilities include:
- Reactive maintenance across a wide range of production machinery including rollers, extruders, presses and forming equipment
- Electrical fault finding on motors, sensors, temperature and pressure systems
- Mechanical maintenance including pumps, pipework, pneumatics and hydraulics
- PLC interrogation via HMI (Rockwell systems) checking inputs and outputs
- Supporting uptime across site in a predominantly reactive maintenance environment
What they’re looking for
- To succeed as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will need:
- Level 3 engineering qualification (NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Experience within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding ability across both electrical and mechanical systems
- Confidence reading electrical and mechanical drawings
- A self-sufficient approach suited to a reactive, fast-paced environment as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
