The role

  • As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, responsibilities include:
  • Reactive maintenance and fault finding across automated production lines and robotic cells
  • Electrical fault diagnosis using PLCs (Siemens) and HMI systems
  • Mechanical maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings and CNC-related equipment
  • Supporting planned preventative maintenance through CMMS systems
  • Driving improvements in reliability, uptime and engineering performance

What they’re looking for

To succeed as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will need:

  • Level 3 engineering qualification (NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
  • Experience within automotive, heavy manufacturing or similar industrial environments
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills with solid mechanical knowledge
  • Experience working with PLCs, robotics or automated machinery
  • A proactive and driven attitude suited to a fast-paced environment as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
