The role
- As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, responsibilities include:
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding across automated production lines and robotic cells
- Electrical fault diagnosis using PLCs (Siemens) and HMI systems
- Mechanical maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings and CNC-related equipment
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance through CMMS systems
- Driving improvements in reliability, uptime and engineering performance
What they’re looking for
To succeed as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will need:
- Level 3 engineering qualification (NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Experience within automotive, heavy manufacturing or similar industrial environments
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills with solid mechanical knowledge
- Experience working with PLCs, robotics or automated machinery
- A proactive and driven attitude suited to a fast-paced environment as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
