Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £47,000 | Double Days | 7% Pension | Christmas Shutdown | Funded Training (Potential HNCs)
Shifts: Monday to Friday – 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm
We are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established UK manufacturing site operating within a fast-paced production environment. This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a close-knit engineering team that places strong emphasis on training, development, and internal progression.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will work as part of the site maintenance team, carrying out a mix of reactive and planned maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime. The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will support production operations and contribute to continuous improvement across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Supporting production during breakdowns
- Working with CMMS and maintenance schedules
The role follows a double days shift pattern and provides a balanced workload between reactive maintenance and preventative tasks.
About You
This Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role requires:
- NVQ Level 3 minimum (Electrical or Multi-Skilled)
- Strong electrical fault-finding ability
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- A hands-on, team-focused approach
