Multi Skilled (Mechanical Biased) Maintenance Engineer
Based in Stanford-Le-Hope (Essex)
Monday - Friday Day Shifts
£40 Umbrella or £30.71ph plus Holiday Pay
The business is now looking for a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to support the internal team and to ensure downtime is to a minimum whilst maintaining standards of a variety of equipment. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PPM) on automated equipment such as conveyors, packaging systems, and dimensioning units.
- Carry out regular inspections and service checks to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Clean and maintain machinery, including strip-downs, belt replacements, and lubrication.
- Change electrical components in live electrical panels (following safety protocols).
The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.
- Previous mechanical experience within a factory environment – this could be manufacturing or distribution sites.
- Mechanical engineering qualification
- Able to fault find and repair a wide range electrical and mechanical component
The benefits of this Maintenance Engineer contract is the following.
- Established rolling 2 month rolling contract
- Monday to Friday day shifts
- Minimum of 40 hours per week available
- £40 Umbrella or £30.71ph PAYE
