Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer – West Yorkshire
3-month rolling contract (inside IR35)
Shift 6-2/2-10 Mon-Fri - 38hr week
Rate: £20.00p/h PAYE or £25.00p/h Umbrella

I am working with a key client in West Yorkshire, who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer for a 3-month rolling contract, which could become a permanent position long term. You will assist with key mechanical and electrical reactive and planned maintenance work, working on a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift pattern
For this position, you will require to conduct the following duties:
v Working on mechanical plant equipment (e.g., pumps, gears, valves, conveyors, packing lines, mixers, tanks etc)
v Fault finding, repair and installation of electrical components, controls, and systems (control panels, invertors, sensors, 3 phase power, relays etc)
v Reactive work, dealing with breakdowns, and planned preventative maintenance
The successful person will need to have the following attributes:
v Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles
v As comfortable mechanically as well as electrically
v Health and Safety awareness
v Able to work autonomously, with a ‘right first time’ mentality
v Experience within process manufacturing plant environment
v Strong communication and interpersonal skills working alongside production staff and shift supervisors
v Electrical engineering apprenticeship (C&G ETC) or qualified minimum to NVQ L3 electrical, and 17th/18th edition would be beneficial but mot essential
