Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer – Days (Mon–Fri)
Location- Macclesfield
Salary- £37,000 – £40,000 + 6% company pension + overtime + 27 days holiday + bank holidays
About the Role:
A long-established manufacturing business in Macclesfield is seeking an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join their close-knit engineering team. This opening has become available due to the upcoming retirement of a valued team member — a rare opportunity, as everyone in the team has over 10 years of service, which speaks volumes about what it’s like to work here.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing manufacturing and production equipment, ensuring the smooth and safe running of plant operations. This is a days-only role, Monday to Friday, offering great work-life balance and long-term stability.
The Role:
- Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults quickly and efficiently
- Support process improvements and continuous reliability initiatives
- Work safely to company and regulatory standards
You’ll Need:
- Electrical bias with strong multi-skilled maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Recognised electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or similar)
- A positive attitude, good communication skills, and a team-focused approach
What’s on Offer:
- Salary: £37,000 – £40,000 DOE
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Pension: 6% company contribution
- Overtime: x1.3 on Saturdays, x2 on Sundays
- Holidays: 27 days + 8 bank holidays
