Maintenance Engineer
Location- Warrington
Salary- £50,000 per annum
Shifts- Panama Shift Pattern (Days & Nights)
Holidays- 25 Days Holiday
The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a global, stable, and well-established business based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their skills, with outstanding training and development available, including PLC programming courses (Profinet / Profibus).
You’ll be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, carrying out both mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and fault-finding mechanical and electrical issues
- Stripping down machinery and rebuilding equipment
- Replacing worn mechanical components such as bearings, sprockets, chains, and belts
- Electrical fault finding on control panels
- Changing and configuring inverters and drives
- Monitoring and supporting PLC-controlled systems
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer (mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled)
- Strong fault-finding skills in industrial/manufacturing environments
- Experience working with PLC systems (training provided for advanced programming)
- Knowledge of inverters, drives, motors, and control panels
- Willingness to work a Panama shift pattern (days & nights)
