Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Shifts: Monday–Friday (Days Only) Early Finish on Friday’s
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join a forward-thinking and high-performing manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for a proactive engineer who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is committed to maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults efficiently and effectively.
- Perform reactive maintenance and implement continuous improvement solutions to enhance machinery performance.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of production equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and operational standards, always promoting a safe working environment.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong electrical fault-finding capability, with solid mechanical knowledge.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Competent in the use of diagnostic tools, hand tools, and maintenance equipment.
- A methodical and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
