ATA are supporting a large engineering group in their search for an experienced engineering manager to join their established site in the Tamworth region. The group turnover north of £400million and have a fantastic reputation within their market, responsible for manufacturing some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market. This site in the Staffordshire is one of the most unique in the group, producing a specialist type of product that is sought after and used within large scale civil projects.

Due to their market sustaining am impressive period of growth, my client has grown as a business by £100 million over the last three years. Growth has allowed them to acquire some of their competition and put in future plans to safeguard their business. These plans include investment of nearly £30million, installing brand new machinery, increasing headcount and developing processes to enhance the quality of their product.
Our client is looking for multiskilled engineers of both electrical and mechanical bias to join their team.

About the role

As a multiskilled engineer you will work within a large team to ensure the safe and effective maintenance of all plant machinery.

  • PPM
  • Reacting to breakdowns & remedial repair work
  • Completing project work
  • Fault finding
  • Continuous improvement and root cause analyses

About you

To be considered for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer position with the business, you can be either electrical or mechanical biased and have experience from any industry. 

You should have the following:

-        Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer within a factory environment.

-        Experience working within manufacturing would be beneficial.

-        Experience with adhering to safe lock off and tag of procedures.

-        Recognised qualification (BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, HND).

-        Our client will also consider candidates if you are recently qualified and have just finished your apprenticeship.
