Salary: £41,200 - £45,400
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm

The Role – Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Working within a team of three engineers on shift and reporting into the Engineering Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance across a wide range of industrial machinery.
Core Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive repairs
- Log all completed work using the CMMS system
- Electrical troubleshooting across site equipment
- Mechanical repair work as needed
- Support breakdowns, plant improvements and reliability activities
Electrical Focus
- Electrical fault finding on heavy industrial machinery
- Working with inverters, contactors, relays, overloads, pressure switches, drives
- Siemens PLC I/O checking
- Supporting the development of electrical PPM routines
- Reactive electrical maintenance (electrical PPMs currently being expanded)
Mechanical Exposure
- Replacing bearings, gearboxes, rollers and mechanical components
- Working on conveyors, screens, crushers and similar equipment
- Strip-downs, rebuilds and general mechanical support
What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
- Comfortable with both electrical and mechanical fault finding
- Experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Motivated, reliable and a strong team player
Salary & Benefits
