£37,000k (Including shift allowance), 23 days annual leave + 8 stat, 8% total pension contribution.

Ata is working with a pharmaceutical business who are looking for a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join their team in Burton-On-Trent. The business who specialises within contract manufacturing are a one shop stop and supports their clients on formulating their pharmaceutical grade tablets and manufacturing them on site. The company are experiencing a steady period of growth and despite the challenging year in 2020 they were able to surpass a turnover of nearly £15 million growing just under 2%.
About the role
As a multiskilled maintenance engineer you will be responsible for completing ppm, reacting to breakdowns and completing remedial repair work in a busy clean environment. This would be on automated plant machinery, including 3 phase equipment (415v), blister packaging machines, granulators, tablet pot packaging lines, compressors plus more. You will be responsible for fault finding on automated machinery, this would be both electrically and mechanically using a range of different techniques.
The company are working towards making the site more efficient so are adopting LEAN manufacturing processes on site, therefor you will be involved project work and making production improvements.
About you
As a multiskilled maintenance engineer you should have experience working within an automated environment ideally from an FMCG, pharmaceutical, food or distribution environment. You should possess an equal amount of electrical and mechanical skill set, however if you have a slight electrical bias that would be beneficial. You should be happy working within a clean environment within a small engineering team.
- You should hold a recognised level 3 engineering qualification city and guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC.
