The role
As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, responsibilities include:
- Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support across seven production lines
- Electrical fault finding, component replacement and reading technical drawings
- Mechanical maintenance including bearings, shafts, hydraulics and pneumatics
- PLC fault interrogation (Siemens) checking inputs and outputs
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the factory
What they’re looking for
To succeed as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will need:
- Level 3 engineering qualification (NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical discipline
- Experience within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding capability with electrical competency
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- A proactive attitude with aspirations to develop
