I am looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with either an Electrical or Mechanical bias for an exciting opportunity which has become available at a Plastics / Packaging company based in Castleford, Wakefield.
Role: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (Mech or Elec Bias)
Location: Castleford / Wakefield
Salary: £34 000 (Up to £60 000 with OT)
Shifts: PANAMA
Pension: Up to 8.5%
Overtime: Paid at a very generous rate and plenty available. You can earn up to £60 000 as some engineers are currently doing in the company
Other Benefits: Training and routes in to progression available. 23 Holidays plus stats.
Ideally you will have suitable qualifications and come from a factory maintenance background in a similar role.
The role involves hands on maintenanance covering PPM's and beakdowns. You should have a good understanding of fault finding, PLC's, electrical drawimgs, pumps, pipes, valves, shafts etc.
You will be working on a mixture of old and new machinery including: Extruders (plastic), granulators, washing plants (pumps, driers) blenders, material handling systems and conveyors etc.
