Permanent – £16.48 - £17.85 p/h (Overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x)

This impressive company has experienced some excellent growth over the last 5 years having diversified into several different markets. Following some recent project wins, the requirement for new product has dramatically increased and the business needs to grow their manufacturing headcount to ensure that they deliver to their clients on time. This business is now looking for new fabricator / welders to add to the team to help sustain this growth into the future

The Pipefitter will be responsible for the following.

  • Welding and pipefitting on skids for the pharmaceutical sector
  • TIG Welding of stainless-steel equipment
  • Welding of pipework, brackets, vessels, valves, balustrades, handrails, framework, platforms
  • Most pipework is 2mm-10mm thickness
  • Working from engineering drawings including P&ID’s
  • Using an orbital welding machine
  • 37.5 hours a weekend standard, expect an additional 10-12 hours overtime per week

The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:

  • TIG Welding & Pipefitting experience
  • Stainless steel experience
  • C&G / HNC / ONC qualification
  • Willing to work 50+ hours
  • Happy to stay away 2-3 times a year for installation projects – up to 14 days at a time
  • Flexible, good work ethic, autonomous, use own initiative
