ATA Search is working in partnership with one of the UK's leading food manufacturing businesses that is looking to improve their sustainability programmes. As part of a UK-wide strategic vision, you will be reporting to the Director of Sustainability and leading programmes related to six key sustainable areas – Responsible Sourcing, People and Community, Energy Consumption, Waste, Health and Packaging.
You will lead and manage all day-to-day activities for a range of programmes across all six platforms and play an integral role in the group achieving all sustainable objectives. In return, this organisation is offering a structured and clear training programme to ensure you excel within the group.

Key Accountabilities – Programme Manager – Sustainability
- Lead and manage programmes related to six key sustainability areas; Responsible Sourcing, People and Community, Energy Consumption, Waste, Health and Packaging
- Managing a Data Analyst 10% of the time and 90% of your time will be hands-on delivering and managing sustainability programmes
- Improve sustainability engagement across multiple sites at both operational and senior management level
- Lead and manage sustainability communication, engagement and all associated governance
- Coaching and training seminars on sustainability to a broad spectrum of internal and external clients
- Data reporting on the performance of all key six sustainable topics
- Sustainable risk mitigation and risk management including corrective measures
- Facilitate and implement the necessary sustainable changes by working with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage quarterly and annual sustainability reporting
Requirements – Programme Manager – Sustainability
- An experienced programme manager with a proven track record in delivering sustainability improvement programmes
- A suitable education, degree preferred in a related field
- The ideal candidate will have a track record in delivering sustainability programmes within the FMCG, Food, Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing sector
- Ideally a Prince II or APM certification
- Commutable to the offices in Leicestershire 2 days per week
- A full EU driving licence
You will have full autonomy to manage sustainability programmes as you see fit with opportunities for your role to expand further once you have established yourself within the business.
