I am working with a key client within the Chemical / Process industry who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to run and oversee projects on site based in the Teeside area - offering guidance, direction, and strategic solutions to projects, and ensuring programmes are implemented and taken through to delivery.
For the position of Project Manager, you will require to conduct the following duties:
- Manage projects, monitoring and looking at standards
- Full project lifecycle from design through to commission being hands on when necessary
- Manging risks and dealing with deviations to the projects
- Strategic support to day-to-day operations where required on the projects
- Completion of projects through delivery, ensuring budget & quality are delivered on time
- Ensuring H&S requirements are adhered throughout
The successful Project Manager will need to have the following attributes:
- Highly knowledgeable in leading projects from start to finish
- Proven Strategic thinker, problem solver
- Experience in Chemical, Process, Petro-chemical backgrounds
- Leadership and project management experience
- Proven background in delivery of complex engineering projects
- I.T / computer skills, MS Office / Outlook / MS Projects
- Hybrid working available where necessary
