The Company:
This company design and manufacture bespoke process machinery that is sold to companies all over the world. The design and manufacturing operations are all based out of their headquarters in Leeds along with an experienced team of project engineers who run complex projects from cradle to grave for their global customer base. Due to new contract wins and increased demand for their products, they are now looking to strengthen their projects department with a project planner to support the team of project engineers.
The Role:
- The main purpose of this role is to support the team of project engineers by planning projects from initial enquiry stage, through design, manufacture, test, installation, and commissioning.
- Using MS Project to understand lead times and communicate any issues to the project engineers
- The goal for the project planner is to help deliver the project on time and within budget, to the highest standard.
Required Experience:
- Experience in using MS Project is a must
- You will have experience within the engineering/manufacturing sector ideally as a projects planner
- You must have excellent organisation and communication skills
