Location – Leicester
Salary – £55,000 + 25 days holiday + healthcare + pension
The Company
ATA Recruitment is currently working with a highly successful engineering business who specialise in the manufacturing of aerospace parts. As a company they have are seeing a large increase of order book post pandemic. They are currently investing in the business in order to grow further to become even more prominent in the market over the next 18 months.
A key hire for them now is the need for a motivated Quality Manager who is going to be focussed on managing and improving their product quality, systems and customer service. This will involve implementing a culture of zero-defects through proven methodologies.
This opportunity is a fantastic opportunity for an autonomous Quality Manager who is looking for a challenging role which will allow you to have fully autonomy on the companies quality processes!

The Role
The role of Quality Manager will involve:
- Managing a team of 15 – QE, Inspectors, Techs
- Management of the Quality Assurance System
- Develop cost effective inspection models to ensure product is being manufactured to correct standards
- Manage against set KPIs
- Ensure product quality is to the highest standards
- Being customer facing for audits
- Lead a culture of zero-defect philosophy
- Ensure all documentation follow company quality procedures.
- Write company procedures and SOP’s.
- Lead all internal and external audits.
- Constantly monitor and improve quality systems, implementing effective quality management tools.
The Candidate
To be successful as a Quality Manager you will need:
- Experience in managing and implementing Quality Management Systems.
- To have worked within an engineering, manufacturing or process environment
- Ideally have worked within aerospace or automotive
