International Service & commissioning Engineer
Based anywhere in England
£34,000-£38,000 + Car + OT. Anticipated earnings are £50-£60K
The Company:
This market leading company design and manufacture industrial machinery that is sold all over the world. The equipment is fully PLC automated and is bespoke to the customers requirement.
The company has been extremely busy during the last 12 months and has grown significantly, so as a result they are looking to increase the size of their service and commissioning engineer department.
The Role:
Working from home you will travel to customers sites globally to install and commission electro-mechanical machinery.
- The commissioning process involves testing the electrical systems and the PLC programmes
- There will be a high degree of fault finding in this role to get thing working correctly
- Electrically you will be working on AC/DC systems, control panels, motors, drives, relay, sensors
- Mechanically you will also be working with pumps, pipework, valves, pneumatics
- The customer specifies which PLC they want but the main ones are Mitsubishi, siemens and Allen Bradley
Required Experience:
- A strong industrial electrical background is required with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- I good understanding of PLC’s is important
- The flexibility to travel and work away from home is really important
