Field Service Engineer

£32,000-£33,000 + Vehicle + OT + Structured Training and development plan
The Company:
This company is a global supplier of labelling and printing machinery that is designed for the food, FMCG and automated warehousing industries. The growth this company has gone through in the last few years is astronomical and they are selling their machines into new industries which is allowing them to continue growing at an incredible rate.
They now need an additional service engineer to join their established service team, to support their customers in the North of England.
The Role:
Working from home the service engineer will be working on customer sites around the Yorkshire and Lancashire area.
- You will get involved in both planned and reactive maintenance, as well as installation projects
- Electrically you will be working on single and 3 phase systems, wiring the product into control panels, fault finding and replacing components
- Mechanically you will be doing basic fitting, mounting brackets, and maintaining belts and pulleys
Required Experience:
- Full product and industry training is provided so the successful service engineer can become a product expert.
- You will need to hold a recognised electrical qualification to be considered for the role
- You will need experience of working on 3 phase electrical systems
- It is also important that you are flexible to travel and work away on occasion
- This is a customer facing role so communication skills and the ability to build relationships is just as important as your technical ability
