Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing
Based in Bradford – 1 week contract (possible Extension)
Day Shifts Monday to Friday – 8am to 4pm (Overtime if available)
Outside IR35 £30ph
The business is now looking for an Maintenance Engineer (Elec Biased) to support the internal team and to ensure downtime is to a minimum by supporting the complete service overhaul of conveyor systems on site. The day-to-day responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will involve the following.
- Reactive maintenance will include fault finding and replacing components on a variety of Conveyor Systems
- Preventative maintenance
- Electrical responsibilities will include fault finding on PLCs and a variety of electrical components such as sensors, relays, proximities, control panels, single phase, three phase,
- Mechanical responsibilities will include fault finding and replacing a variety of mechanical components such as rollers, chains, bearings, sprockets, gearboxes
The Maintenance Engineer must possess the following skills and experience.
- Previous Electrical experience within an automation environment – this could be Manufacturing, or FMCG.
- Electrical Qualification Required
- Able to fault find and repair a wide range electrical and mechanical components
- Experience with working PLCs
The benefits of this Maintenance Engineer contract are the following.
- Minimum of 40 hours per week available
- Day Shifts 8am to 4pm (Overtime could be available)
- Outside IR35
- Start Date is from 23rd of February
