Site Erector / 360 Telehandler

3 weeks contract initially (likely extension for 2-3 months)
Rate: £20p/h Limited or Umbrella (Outside IR35)

Our Client
I am working with a key client who are a heavy plant & materials handling engineering and construction company, based out of Yorkshire. We are recruiting for Site Erector with a 360-telehandler licence, on a key customer site in Leeds for initially 3 weeks, to assist on the upgrade of key customer facility.
Duties & Responsibilities:
v Steel erecting, reading drawings and working to plans
v Working on an array of heavy equipment and associated structural supports, gantries, and walkways etc
v Operating the 360 Telehandler (Manitou 5tn.) to the work required
v Moving heavy loads, steel work & capital equipment into position
v Utilising winch to act as a crane for under slung loads
v Working to plans and scope
v Assisting with Mechanical fitting
v Taking out old and putting in new conveyor systems
v Working to a high level of health and safety as required for site etc
v Liaise with other teams and key stakeholders
v Report any snagging issues or problems to Site Supervisor
The successful candidate:
v Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality
v 360 telescopic handler & under slung load licence essential
v NVQ L3 ideally steel erecting etc
v Site safety passport required (CCNSG / CSCS / Ace Card etc)
v Ability to travel or be commutable to Leeds
v Outside IR35 contract
