Site Rigger
Based in Scunthorpe / NE Lincs
4 days to cover shutdown (48 hours)
Rate: £20p/h Limited or Umbrella (Outside IR35)
Our Client
I am working with a key client who are a heavy plant engineering and construction company, based out of Yorkshire. We are recruiting for Site Rigger / Erectors on a key customer site in Scunthorpe, for 4 days due to a shutdown.
Duties & Responsibilities:
v Working on an array of heavy equipment such as gearboxes, conveyors, drives etc
v Using chain blocks to remove old and bring in new equipment
v Utilise existing runway beams as well as well as temporary access holes
v Liaise with other teams and key stakeholders
v Strong technical understanding on a heavy mechanical site
v Report any snagging issues or problems to Site Supervisor
v Ability to work professionally on site at clients’ premises, being a key representation
The successful candidate:
v Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality
v Experience in heavy industry, working with chain blocks etc
v NVQ L3 rigging / moving loads, ideally
v Site safety passport required (CCNSG / CSCS / Ace Card etc)
v Ability to travel or be commutable to Liverpool
v Outside IR35 contract
