Position: Stores Co-ordinator
Location: Birmingham
Rate: £17-£19ph
Contract Length: 3 Month rolling contract
Are you a skilled and experienced Stores Co-ordinator looking for an exciting contract opportunity to contribute your expertise to a dynamic manufacturing team? Look no further! We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our client’s team.
The role of a Stores Co- Ordinator will involve:.
- Manage and facilitate the maintenance spare parts stores.
- Implement and manage stores processes.
- Design stores layout and storage requirements.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Planner and Admin Team for spare parts availability.
- Identify and correctly locate all parts in the stores.
- Store spare parts to maintain their readiness for use within the factory.
- Appropriately handle items requiring outside refurbishment.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports.
- Liaise with Engineering team members to ensure adherence to stores processes.
- Optimize stock holding based on usage and supplier lead times.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in Manufacturing /Engineering Maintenance Stores. Essential
- Training / experience in a tracking software e.g. piranha.
- Knowledge of industrial spare parts within Maintenance/Engineering
- Experience in FLT operation would be desirable.
