Store Operative – Burton on Trent
3 months temp to perm
£14 per hour
Day shift Monday to Friday
Day to day role and responsibilities:
- Ensure all parts are identified and located correctly in the stores.
- Ensure that all spare parts are stored in a manner that maintains their readiness for active use within the factory.
- Ensure that all items that require outside refurbishment are dealt with appropriately.
- Liaise with all Engineering team members and ensure stores processes are followed
- FLT Driving
- General cleaning and upkeep of site
- Driving the van to local suppliers to pick up parts if required
The candidate must possess the following:
- Organisational skills
- Previous experience as a store operative within an engineering/manufacturing sector
- Independent worker
- Previous experience with dealing directly with suppliers
- Driving License and FLT experience
- IT Literate
