Commissioning / Electrical Test Engineer

£15.00p.hr - £18.00p.hr (PAYE OR Umbrella)
3-4 Months temp to perm
My client is a leading manufacturer of LV switchgear, taking things right from design stage to installation they’re highly respected within their market. Due to ongoing growth they’re looking for a commissioning engineer to join their ever-growing team.
What would day to day duties include?
- Electrical test of LV Switchgear and controls panels
- Conduction Pre- FAT’s (factory acceptance tests), FAT’s (factory acceptance tests with the client present), and SAT’s (site acceptance tests – at the client premises).
- Liaise with clients and / or their representatives
- Using schematics to fault find
- Preparing test certs and all required documentation
What are the expected skills and experiences?
