Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Milton Keynes

Shifts: 4o4o days and nights (6-6)

Salary and Benefits:  £32,000, Pension, Holidays and progression structure

The Company

I am proud to be working with a Global provider in the manufacturing sector. My client are looking for a Maintenance Engineer in Milton Keynes to join the team and be able to hit the ground running. Being a global manufacturer their turnover last year was pushing the £5bn mark. With nearly 150 production sites globally if you are looking for development and security then this is the role for you. My client recently had a number of sites in the UK achieve Gold Standard World class Manufacturing

The Role:

As a Machine operator you will:

-            Be machine monitoring

-            Product and quality checking

-            Basic Pre planned maintenance and basic replacing like for like components on all the lines, with Maintenance Engineers their to support for anything complex – inc heads, barrels, blades, moulds etc

-            Changing material mix, colour, mould

-            Maintaining high standard of cleanliness at all times

-            Following a PLC to ensure the machinery is fully functional

-            Working following health and safety guidelines

The Individual

To be a Machine Operator you must;

-            Have had previous experience working within FMCG

-            Be a strong communicator

-            Be confident monitoring and working on extrusion lines

The Package

As a Machine Operator you will receive

-            A minimum salary of £32,000 per year

-            6% pension match
