About the client
We are supporting a manufacturing business on their search for a maintenance electrician to join their brand-new automated facility in the Harlow area. The business who has a history spanning over 150 years turnover north of £50million across 3 sites in the UK and operate within the food sector. Although you may not know their product by name, the business is a leader within their field and supply into all major supermarkets and also directly to into global food manufacturing groups. They are a proud family operated business who are now in their 6th generation of family ownership. With the current uncertainty in the world and for UK manufacturing, this is a fantastic opportunity for a engineer to join a stable, secure business that have been going strength to strength over the last five years.
About the role
As a maintenance electrician you will be responsible for completing ppm, reacting to breakdowns and completing remedial repair work across 3 busy manufacturing sites. This would be on medium to heavy plant machinery, including 3 phase equipment (415v), conveyors, industrial rollers, packaging equipment and bespoke machinery specific to this site. You will be responsible for fault finding on automated machinery, this would be through various methods, including through siemens/Allen Bradley PLC (No prior experience needed).
About you
To be considered for this maintenance electrician opportunity, you should have experience working within a factory environment, preferably within medium to heavy industry.
- Experience with fault finding
- Experience working from a CMMS to complete PPMs.
- Experience reacting to breakdowns.
- Electrical qualification
- Happy to work within a small engineering team
- Happy to travel between three sites (Easily commutable to each other)
