Maintenance Engineer NIGHTS
Permanent NIGHTS 2on 2off 3on 2off 2on 3off – 6-6 (off every other weekend)
Location - Leicester
Salary - £46,000 plus overtime (OTE £48k)
Benefits – 22 days + 8 bank holidays
The Company
Our client is the leading manufacturer in their field of food products who have been established for over 100 years. This family owned business is a real success story and has multiple sites across the globe.
Their site in Worksop produces a number of different high quality products and supplies in to all of the major multiples, their group turnover peaks at £1bn. The business has major growth plans and has recently seen a significant investments across their sites, and are also looking to enhance their capacity on site with the introduction of new production lines in the coming years. The site is now looking for a days based maintenance engineer.
The Role
The maintenance engineer will be responsible for all electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification work on production lines on site. This would include fault finding through to a competent level with a multimeter or by checking inputs and outputs, reading schematics and checking HMI screens.
Electrical components include sensors, relays, safety circuits, 3 phase motors, conveyors, converters, switches & panels. PLC experience will require checking of inputs/outputs, ladder logic, uploading and downloading programs
The work will be predominantly reactive maintenance.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
- Must have a recognised electrical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND).
- Experience as a maintenance engineer
- A positive can-do attitude.
