Maintenance Engineer
Salary - £36,000 + overtime
Benefits – 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
Pension – 6% employee – 9% company
Shifts – 1st week – 7am-3.30pm - Wednesday – 7am-4pm (early finish on a Friday 2pm)
2nd week – 10.30am-6.30pm - Wednesday – 7am-4pm (early finish on a Friday 5pm)

Their site in Leicester is renowned for their quality and customer service, offering their clients, who are some of the world’s leading brands, solutions to meet all their packaging needs.
This site employs over 200 staff and are looking to increase their engineering team even further with a mechanical engineer. You will be working with a fantastic and highly skilled team who continuously strive to decrease downtime and increase efficiencies.
The business has a real focus on engineering and has an academy and apprenticeship programme and this role will offer you the chance to mentor those beginning their career within maintenance.
Due to their investment in to the site and growth they now require an additional maintenance engineer.
Role
As a maintenance engineer your day to day duties will include:
- Stripping and rebuild of mechanical parts
- Machining - milling, turning, lathe
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, gearboxes, rollers, shafts, motors
- Mechanical fitting
- Welding and fabrication would be an advantage but not essential

- Mechanically qualified
