Maintenance Planner
Up to £35K + Pension

Based in Pontefract
The Company:
A large FMCG manufacturing business that produces packaging materials for the food industry. This company have invested heavily in new plant and equipment over the last few years and they are looking for a maintenance planner to help them get the most out of their assets.
The Role:
Reporting into the engineering manager, this autonomous role will see you analyse the manufacturing plant looing for bottlenecks in production and potential machine failures and putting preventative measures in place to stop machines breaking down.
They do currently have a PPM system in place and are looking for a maintenance planner to monitor and manage and improve this:
- Managing and administration of a CMMS
- Working with production operators to implement maintenance strategies
- Schedule maintenance work for operators and engineers
- Using TPM/RCM methodologies improve machine availability
- Identify repetitive machine failures and plan investigations to find the root cause
Required Experience:
As long as you are apprentice trained and have come from a factory maintenance background the company is quite open to what their next maintenance Planner will look like:
- You could be a maintenance engineer with strong TPM/RCM skills looking for a route off the tools?
- Or you might be an engineering /maintenance supervisor that has got involved in planning and scheduling maintenance?
- Or you might be an experienced maintenance planner looking for a new challenge?
