Motor Winder / Fitter
£28,000-£36,000 + Pension + OT
Based in the Leeds/Bradford area
The Company:
A well-established engineering who specialises in the repair and service of industrial motors, gearboxes and pumps are looking for an experienced engineer to help repair and maintain industrial motors in their workshop.
The Role:
- Workshop based on a regular day shift you will strip down, diagnose any faults, and repair AC/DC Machines, Gearboxes and pumps.
- A large part of this role is repairing industrial motors which involve overhauling them rewinding them ad repairing them– this is a specialist skillset and a must for the role.
- You will also be writing reports on the work you have done on the equipment, what faults you found and the repairs you have made
Required Experience:
- Apprentice trained or time served engineer
- Experience of winding motors is essential
- Ideally you will have experience of repairing mechanical equipment such as gearboxes and pumps, but training can be given if you have the rewinding experience
