Job role - Multi-Skilled Electrically Bias Maintenance Engineer

£38,000 + Overtime + OTE of £42,000 + 25 days holiday + Life assurance + Site canteen + Flexible working hours + Frequent opportunities for training and progression (funded HNC for top employees!)

Shifts – Double days 6:00 - 2:30 then 2:30 – 11:00

The Role

Working as a multi-skilled electrically bias maintenance engineer will involve:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance by maintaining equipment, machinery, and services and responding to breakdowns
  • A few mechanical responsibilities involving – fault finding and swapping like for like components such as, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, motors, chains, and pulleys
  • Electrical responsibilities involving – fault finding on single and 3 phase equipment, relays, sensors, switches, control panels and circuits

Requirements

It is required as a multi-skilled electrically bias maintenance engineer that you have:

  • Previous experience in fault finding both electrically and mechanically, swapping like for like components and being able to tag out lock out
  • An NVQ level 3 electrical engineering qualification
  • The ability to use a multi-meter to check inputs and outputs on a PLC
