Salary: £54K + overtime + internal training + holidays + 8% Pension + Private healthcare
Shifts: Panama’s (2 weekends off per month)
Location: Wigan

The Company
Our client is a leading manufacturer for the construction industry. They have Multiple which are all building product manufacturers. you will be working with specialist machinery.
The Role of a mechanical maintenance engineer
You will be working with machinery Bespoke to the industry. MSK baggers, riser, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, mixers.
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Mechanical Maintenance engineer will include:
- The planned and reactive maintenance and service of all machines on site.
- Working as part of a maintenance engineering team.
- Mechanically you will mainly be replacing worn out parts on the conveyors which will include rollers, bearings, and pulleys. with the odd strip and rebuild project
- stripping down components on unplanned breakdowns and repair. Every Fridays all day and Mon till 4pm you will get time to do preventative maintenance.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application as a mechanical Maintenance Engineer you must have the following skills or attributes:
- Must have previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer Mechanical or Electrical.
- Ideal previous experience of working in heavy industries.
