My client has a site based in Bourne in which they are a market leader in SCRAP converting for use in the plastics processing industry. They have a site local to them in which they work alongside to get their process as lean as possible. Not only this, they have their own lab where they can do more in depth development for their customers needs. They are part of a larger group but these 2 facilties themselves turnsover over £40M PA. With this in mind, they are looking for a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join their team.
THE ROLE AS MULTISKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER:
• To carry out all reactive maintenance/breakdowns
• To complete all planned maintenance as and when is necessary
• To maintain various different heavy plant machinery
• Changing electrical components like for like
• To be able to use a multimeter
• To be comfortable on all mechanical components
• To have a good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
THE CANDIDATE:
• To hold an Engineering qualification (advantageous)
• To have manufacturing experience
• To be able to fault find mechanically
• To have a basic knowledge of electrical engineering
• To have plastic knowledge (advantageous)
• To be comfortable working in a heavy plant environment
• To be well organised and be able to plan own workload
• Good commutation skills with managements and customers
