Site Manager – Birmingham

Location: Birmingham
Shift: Monday to Friday – Days (48 hours per week)
Rate: £400–£450
Contract: LTD (Outside IR35)

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to support a New Logistics Distribution Centre project in Birmingham. This role focuses on the installation of a conveyor cross-belt sorter system and coordinating closely with the main project contractor.

You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site activity, coordinating multiple installation suppliers, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and delivery on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate multiple installation suppliers on site
  • Take full ownership of EHS compliance and site safety standards
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client and stakeholders
  • Lead daily activity briefings, safety briefings, and site meetings
  • Drive site progress and resolve issues quickly and decisively
  • Monitor and report project progress using MS Office and MS Project

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction, engineering, or installation projects
  • Previous Site Manager experience on Industrial Logistics Projects.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and safe systems of work
  • Confident communicator, able to engage at all levels
  • Decisive leadership style with the ability to challenge unsafe or non-compliant behaviour
  • Competent using MS Office and MS Project
