The Role
In this newly created position the Stores person will be solely responsible for running of the Engineering Stores on site for all Electrical and Mechanical Components that are used by the Maintenance Team. The administration is conducted via Pirana, a shires system. A key part of this role is to keep the stores room in a well maintained environment.
Parts will need to be assigned to bin locations and logged on Pirana so as spares can be found quickly when needed. The Stores person will also need to book in and out all stock to ensure full traceability of parts. You will also be required to raise purchase orders and deal directly with suppliers, internal and external customers.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
- Must have previous experience of working within a Stores environment.
- IT literate
- A self-starter who is motivated
