Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Regular Days role in Castleford
£30,000-£35,000 + OT
The Company:
A FMCG manufacturing business that is rapidly growing is looking to expand its engineering department with an additional electrical maintenance engineer to cope with demand. The business manufacture plastic products and sell to high street and online retailers throughout the UK.
The Role:
- The electrical maintenance engineer will work a regular day shift and conduct planned and reactive maintenance activities across a large manufacturing plant.
- Day to day you will be working on AC/DC motors, drives, invertors, relays and PLC controlled equipment.
- Mechanically you will be working on gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, pneumatics and some hydraulics.
Required Experience:
- The successful electrical maintenance engineer will be apprentice trained with a minimum of NVQ3 qualification
- Any exposure to the plastics manufacturing industry and injection moulding machinery is an advantage but any automated manufacturing background will be considered
- Strong electrical and mechanical Fault finding, and diagnostic skills are essential, as is communication and organisational skills
