Maintenance Engineer, Based in Bourne, Starting from £43,000 and after 3 months rising to £44,625, Working a 3 shift rotation.

Here at ATA, we are excited to be presenting you an opportunity based in Bourne, working for a nationally recognised processing company joining their well-established maintenance team as a maintenance engineer.

Our client has been operating for a relatively short period of time however despite being a young company, the company through great leadership has become a £mutli million company with a great reputation nationally with an eye for the world as they have recently joined a larger group. As well as this, our client has been investing heavily into the site with over £4 million invested in upgrading the facility as well as the machinery, highlighting the continued investment into the process.

Furthermore, our client has been doubling their capacity and in turn have created one of the UK’s largest and most advanced processing facilities. This is, therefore, a great opportunity for an engineer looking for stable and growing business in which to thrive within, while also improving their own skills, both mechanically and electrically.

The Role

During your time as the maintenance engineer on site, you will be expected to work on both the mechanical and electrical elements of the machinery. Therefore, as the maintenance engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out planned maintenance.
  • Reacting to breakdowns.
  • Completing remedial work across a busy site.
  • Maintaining machinery such as silos, extruders, sorting machines and conveyor systems.
  • Fault finding on mechanical and electrical components.

The Candidate

To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer opportunity, you should have:

  • Experience working within engineering
  • Must have a Level 2 Engineering Qualification
  • Must have experience with Fault Finding on 3 Phase Machinery.
