Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £37,000 - OTE £40,000
Location: Leicester
Shift: Mon-Fri 6am-2pm - 2pm-10pm - 1 Saturday in 5 - 1 week of nights every 9 weeks 10pm-6am
Pension + Shift allowance

My client is now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their site. They are a world leader within their industry, operating worldwide.
The business is in the process of recruiting for their site in Leicester. Through immense backing from their customers last year they achieved a turnover of just over £1.5 billion which is expected to increase. To continue to compete at the top of their industry they continuously invest in their site to ensure they are at the forefront of manufacturing techniques. They also invest heavily in their employees and over the last 12 months have given further recognised training, leadership courses and OEM training.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will be:
To work on and maintain food processing machinery including ovens, conveyor, ovens, depositors and packaging lines
Performing reactive maintenance on fully machinery to help maintain the high volume of orders. This may include striping down to component level and swapping parts like for like.
Preventative Maintenance ensuring all machines are running as efficiently and effectively as possible, including general checks, lubrication, striping and rebuilding faulty components.
Following up on any continued break downs or issues which keep arising.
To make sure all company procedures are adhered to through a high level of quality work.
The Candidate
To be a successful Maintenance Engineer you will expect:
To be qualified either electrically or mechanically with good electrical skills.
To be able to work on both electrical and mechanical components.
