Role – Maintenance Supervisor
Salary - £45,000- £50,000 Plus overtime + bonus
Location – Romford
Shift Pattern – Monday to Friday (Double Days, 6-2, 2-10)
Training- Internal and External qualification, along with Job specific
The Company
An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Maintenance Supervisor. They have a huge presence in the UK within the Pharmaceutical industry providing immense security. The site is one of the largest within the UK and contains some of the most state-of-the-art machinery.
My client is a multi-million-pound business who have invest over 15 million on site in the last 4 years. They continue to grow and with them investing heavily not just in the automation but in the Engineers as well through training and development.

The Role
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the co-ordination of the Maintenance activities within their factory. This would include assigning work orders to Maintenance crews & manage spares, along with running daily meetings, 1-2-1s and appraisals, plus co-ordinate any training necessary for the Engineers along with spotting any CI or improvement of the current process.
On top of this you will be expected to be roughly 25% hands on with which task consisting of:
- The planned and reactive maintenance and service of Fillers, conveyors, Bottling plant, Packaging machinery, Ovens, Autoclaves, Labellers, various inspection equipment. Electrical work will include reading through electrical schematics, utilizing electrical test equipment such as multi-meters and fault finding on panels.
- Mainly swapping both electrical and mechanical components like for like with the odd strip and rebuild project.
The Candidate
To be successful as a Maintenance Supervisor you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
- Must have a recognised Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Qualification.
- Managed a Team of Engineer (open to size) or had Senior responsibility.
- Must have previous experience working on automated plant.
