Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Manchester
£40,000 + OT
1 week of 6-2 (8 hrs) Monday to Friday
1 week of 2-12 (10 hrs) Monday to Thursday
The Company:
A multi-site manufacturing business, this company produce and package instantly recognisable brands. The site in Manchester is automated and full of complex machinery to challenge and develop your skills.
As a result of a restructure within the maintenance department they are now looking to recruit a multi-skilled maintenance engineer
The Role:
The multi-skilled maintenance engineer will provide electrical and mechanical support to production machinery
You will conduct planned and reactive maintenance across a FMCG plant
There is also project work to improve the reliability of machines and reduce downtime
Electrically you will be working on control panels, invertors, drives, relays, safety circuits and PLC’s
Mechanically you will be working on motors, pumps, pipework, valves, pneumatics.
Required Experience:
- The Multi-skilled maintenance engineer will be qualified to NVQ 3 in mechanical or Electrical
- You must have a strong level of multi-skilling able be able to fault find on both electrical and mechanical systems
- They are open on specific industry, but you need to be from a manufacturing type of background
