My client is market leading supplier of materials to the manufacturing industry. They have been established since 1968 and employ over 100 people on this site. They a re owned by multi national company that has turnover of £50 million and employs over 400,00 people all over the world. They supply their products into aerospace, automotive, construction and FMCG. They now have an amazing opportunity for a multi skilled maintenance engineer to join their team.
The role
The role of the multi skilled maintenance engineer will be to assist with the maintenance of the plant machinery. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of PLC controlled machinery working both on electrical and mechanical components. There will be some continuous improvements and root cause analysis involved also. There is a good mixture of old and new machinery on site so there is always something to do.
