Calling all maintenance engineers in Thatcham!!

ATA are currently working with one of the UKs largest construction materials manufacturing groups, supporting on a recruitment drive for their established site in the heart of Newbury. The company who have been established for over 60 years employ over 2000 staff across the country and boast a portfolio of manufactured goods second to none. These goods are some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market. With a turnover eclipsing £400 million the business is going from strength to strength and are set to grow even further in 2021 due to the opening of a brand-new supersite.  

My client is currently looking for 1 x Shift Maintenance Electrician 1 x Shift Mechanical fitter & 1 x Days Mechanical fitter and are keen to speak to engineers from all manufacturing backgrounds

To be considered you should have the following;

  • Strong fault-finding techniques
  • The ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience working within a reactive environment
  • Recognised electrical/mechanical qualification level 3 or above (City and Guilds/NVQ/HNC/HND)

This is a fantastic opportunity for any engineer that is looking to work within a stable environment, for a company that will keep on growing along side a busy construction market. This is also a fantastic opportunity for an engineer to acquire a new range of skills with a put together training package that will help them flourish on site. Previous training has included external Siemens S7 plc training, extra qualifications, licences, fabrication and workshop training.
